Vince Della Pia Memoiral Fund

Durham Deaf Services (DDS) had the pleasure of knowing Vince Della Pia for many years. The DDS Board of Directors and Staff were saddened to learn of his passing on February 8, 2024, at the age of 66. Vince is survived by his loving wife and partner of nearly 35 years, Josie, as well as his beloved children, Victoria (Neil) and Jon-Paul (Bridget).

Vince was the President and Founder of Elan Planning and Wealth Management, always displaying a passionate and thoughtful attitude towards his advisors and clients. Vince sat on the DDS Board of Directors and was a dedicated long-term donor. Vince was a generous donor, knowing he made a difference in our community by supporting our Children’s Events and Seniors Programming.

Vince had a wealth of stories and knowledge he loved to share with others. He was able to face adversity through perseverance, never allowing any obstacles to stop him. DDS was truly blessed to have known and worked with Vince. He left a gigantic footprint for others to follow.
