Support Durham Deaf Services by becoming a member!
You will receive:
- DDS Newsletter – twice a year
- Membership with the Durham Deaf Club
- Membership with the Oshawa Deaf Senior Citizens (55+)
- Discounts on DDS merchandise and publications
- Email updates on programs and events
- Advanced registration for Sign Language Classes
You will also be able to:
- Borrow books and DVDs from our resource library
- Vote at our Annual General Meetings
**Please note: there is a two-week turnaround time for membership applications due to capacity restraints within the agency.
Membership fees
$10 – Individuals
$20 – Couple
$30 – Family (3 people)
$35 – Family (4 or more people)

Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of our community!
If you are fluent in ASL, there may be an opportunity for you to volunteer in a classroom environment.
If you know little or no sign, you may want to participate in fundraising events, behind-the-scenes activities, or other possibilities as needed. We also encourage you to take our Signing Naturally courses.
