The annual Walk for YOUR Cause event is back!
This year you can join us on October 22 at Souls Path Retreats for a nature walk to raise money and awareness for DDS programs and services.
- Register on the Durham Community Foundation website and pay the $25 fee online at the link below – Registration cut off is October 17.
- RSVP on this page so we know that you are supporting DDS and coming to the event.
- Download the PDF of the pledge form.
- Go around in the community or ask your family and friends to donate and pledge. If you are not interested in collecting pledges but still want to join us on the walk, that’s fine – feel free to donate to the CanadaHelps Donation page or donate directly to DDS. Contact us at DDS for alternative/other options.

We welcome participants to wear any d/Deaf merch or bring any DDS signs they may have! Come out and show your support!

Who: Open to the DDS community & public
Where will the money go? The registration fee goes to the Durham Community Foundation for your lunch and towards their various community initiatives. Any pledges or donations to DDS will go to our programs and services, including but not limited to children’s parties, community events, senior programs and more.
How can I support DDS? You can support us by registering and collecting pledges. On the day of the event you can wear d/Deaf merch and bring DDS signs. If you can’t join us, you can donate directly instead.
