American Sign Language
ASL 103 – Units 7-9
American Sign Language (ASL) is the main method of communication used by the Deaf community in Canada and the United States. ASL is a visual-based language that is expressed by facial expressions and movements with the hands.
The prerequisites of this course are ASL 101 & 102. This course focuses on the following topics from Units 7, 8, and 9: Describing People and Things, Making Requests and Asking for Advice, and Describing Places.
This non-accredited course offers the student an opportunity to develop the communication skills needed in ASL to interact, socialize, or associate with Deaf people.
Course fees: $200.00
Course length: 10 weeks/25 hours

Registration will not be confirmed until payment has been received.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Full refunds will be issued before classes begin. There will be a $30 cancellation fee if the student withdraws before the 3rd class and no refunds will be issued after the 3rd class.
PREREQUISITE COURSES
A prerequisite means a course that a student must have completed with a satisfactory grade prior to enrolling in the next level course. For prerequisite courses completed elsewhere, a certificate showing completion and passing of the course must be produced.
