Deaf Adult Upgrading Program
DDS provides a literacy program in American Sign Language for Deaf adults who want to improve their literacy skills in the following areas: reading, writing, numeracy/math, computers, and employment preparation.
American Sign Language Courses
Intro to ASL for Children
This course offers an introduction to ASL for children and teaches basic greetings, fingerspelling, numbers, colours, and more.
Intro to ASL
This is an introductory course to American Sign Language for hearing participants to learn fingerspelling and numbers as well as signs for basic
greetings, colours, occupations, family, weather, animals, food and more.
Signing Naturally
These more advanced, non-accredited courses (ASL 101, 102, 103 and 104) offer the student an opportunity to develop the communication skills needed in ASL to interact, socialize, or associate with Deaf people.
