Signing Naturally 1A (Units 1-3)

American Sign Language is the main method of communication used by the Deaf community in Canada and the United States. American Sign Language (ASL) uses visual and gestural symbols in place of the sounds used in spoken language.
Students taking Signing Naturally 1A will learn useful vocabulary and expressions, information about Deaf culture, and the specific grammar rules used in American Sign Language.
Also, this non-accredited course offers the student an opportunity to develop the communication skills needed in ASL to interact, socialize, or associate with Deaf people.
*Workbook is mandatory for the course

Feb 1 – Apr 19, 2021 (no classes Feb 15 & Apr 5)
Where: Online
Cost: $175 + $125 for the Workbook
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Length: 10 weeks/30 hours

Signing Naturally 1B (Units 4-6)
American Sign Language is the main method of communication used by the Deaf community in Canada and the United States. American Sign Language (ASL) uses visual and gestural symbols in place of the sounds used in spoken language.
Students taking Signing Naturally 1B will continue and build on the lessons from 1A, therefore Signing Naturally 1A is a prerequisite.
Also, this non-accredited course offers the student an opportunity to develop the communication skills needed in ASL to interact, socialize, or associate with Deaf people.
*Workbook used in 1A is used in 1B.
*Limit of 12 students per session – first come first serve.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
There will be a $30 cancellation fee if the student withdraws before the 3rd class. There will be no refunds after the 2nd class.
