American Sign Language (ASL) is the main method of communication used by the Deaf community in Canada and the United States. ASL is a visual-based language that is expressed by facial expressions and movements with the hands.

Signing Naturally 1A explores the topics from Units 1, 2, and 3 of the Signing Naturally Student Workbook: Introducing Oneself, Exchanging Personal Information, and Talking About Where You Live.
