Signing Naturally 1A (Units 1-3)

American Sign Language is the main method of communication used by the Deaf community in Canada and the United States. American Sign Language (ASL) uses visual and gestural symbols in place of the sounds used in spoken language.

Students taking Signing Naturally 1A will learn useful vocabulary and expressions, information about Deaf culture, and the specific grammar rules used in American Sign Language.

Also, this non-accredited course offers the student an opportunity to develop the communication skills needed in ASL to interact, socialize, or associate with Deaf people.
